It can be quite tricky, especially if you're on a bike and there's someone already under there!

before airplanes, before cars, and before trains, the main form of transport for goods in England was by canal. The Oxford Canal was part of that system, and this warehouse is a testament to that time long ago. I think.
You might wonder why the canal boats are so narrow.

It's because they have to get through this. This is one of the many, many locks that keep the canal at a more or less constant level. They needed to be this narrow so that a single person could open the lock by a simple lever system. That's my theory, anyway.
I finally depart from the canal and arrive behind my destination, the Said Business School.
