What a beautiful sight - to wake up and not be able to see out of my skylight because it was covered in inches of snow! In my six years in Oxford, I have never seen this much. So I did want any reasonable person would do - I turned into a 5-year-old with my friend Eve and we made a snowman. I also took lots of pictures.
That was a good break. Now back to the thesis.

Snow does that to 61 year old people too! Maybe we drop everything and enjoy it because we know it won’t last long (unless, of course, you live in MN!) Glad you stopped to “smell the roses” er…make a snowman. Life is too short to pass up these opportunities. (((:

What wonderful photographs! I wish I could have met Ethelread before he (she?!) melted away. Perhaps there might be a little mound of snow still there (and still with a big smile) by the time I arrive tomorrow…?
