New College MCR is at it once again. Next week we will be performing Oscar Wilde's 'An Ideal Husband' in the gardens.
Shows start at 7pm and run from Thursday through Sunday.
I have a small but significant and inconsequential role - I am Tommy Trafford, Sir Robert Chiltern's Secretary who is pining after Miss Mabel, Sir Robert's sister, whilst she is working on getting Lord Goring to propose to her. This involves a lot of milling around in the background for Act One, culminating in 3 WHOLE LINES. When the lines come in and what I say - well, you'll have to come and see for yourself!
If you want to come, send an email to newcollegeplay@hotmail.com and say how many are in your party. And feel free to bring a hamper along to enjoy dinner while you watch! I'd recommend a jumper as well, for when the sun passes below the wall.
UPDATE: The reviews are now coming in!

Why oh why would I bring my dirty clothes to a play? And what does that have to do with dinner? mmmm dinner.
Are there really enough doorways to invite people to bring jumpers for the kids? Oh you silly Brits, can’t you just speak English like the rest of us? :-) Chris
