With a new term comes the new Termcard for the Oxford University Strategic Studies Group. While no longer president, I maintain an active role handling the website and the dinners. We’ve got an impressive list of speakers this term, including Major Generals, Professors, and UN project managers.
But more importantly, I completely redesigned their website

Hi, Sam
I enjoy your website from time to time - thanks for the work you put into it. You should invite my brother Jay Hyland to speak at the Oxford U Strategic Studies - he’s an expert in nuclear non-proliferation who was on the UN team that went in to inspect in Iraq before we invaded. He was a nuclear submariner in his Navy career and after the UN went to the CIA, again in nuclear non-proliferation. He has a wonderfully global worldview, not one-sided as one might expect from an American military man. Ask your Dad about him - they served together on Sargo, I believe. Jay doesn’t suffer fools gladly but he’s a really smart guy with an unusually global perspective.
